Some History…

For centuries, essential oils have been used in different civilizations. the first records of essential oils come from ancient India, Egypt and Persia. They implemented steam distillation process to extract the oils from plants, these were used for ceremonies, medicinal baths, massages and some cosmetic products for the skin and hair. Today, they are 2 more processes to extract essential oils: resin tapping and cold pressing. There is more than 100+ types of essentials oils, each of them with distinct smell and potential health benefits.

Firstly, Beaurity made an exhaustive thought process, in order to pick a few essential oils that align with its purpose (Wellness, Mindfulness and Balance). Consequently, the idea was to keep everything in a sustainable and minimalist way. As a result, we are launching Beaurity Essential Oils, a line of only 5 essential oils: Lavanda, Peppermint, Tea Tree, Lemon Grass and Eucalyptus. Each of them with different characteristics and multiple uses.

What Makes Essential Oils Sustainable?

So, what makes Beaurity Essential oils sustainable? Like everything else, if it’s not produced and used properly, and in balance with your needs, its sustainable aspect can vanish. As a result, it takes sustainable agriculture practices and responsibly consumption to maintain them sustainable. However, in the positive aspect, essential oils are plant based, they are an easily regenerative resource, they have multiple uses and it’s waste (if any) will not be harmful for the environment.
